Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Java software developer with at least three years of experience in Java development and related applications. Our key systems are made in Java. As a developer you will work both independently as in a team to develop new software.

We have a state-of-the-art data platform on which many exchange data (400,000 records / sec.) are processed. This platform is linearly scalable, fault tolerant and should be available 24/7. Your challenge in the coming period will be increasing the processing capacity to more than 1.000.000 records per second.

You are driven to achieve the best solution. You will mainly work on the systems that process the incoming data and publish it. One goal is to properly accelerate the processing of the incoming stock exchange data through the development of feed handlers, memory systems and (streaming) data services.

We ask:
• Completed training or experience at college or university level in a relevant IT direction, such as computer science
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of Java EE
• Experience with IntelliJ IDEA , Git
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English
