We’re looking for developers to strengthen our product team and develop the next version of our product. You will be developing at the cutting edge of software.

Technique

At our company we believe you achieve greatness in 1,000 small steps. That is why we do everything in continuous integration and are deploying features/updates/fixes multiple times a day. We have a frontend written in Ember.js and various other JavaScript libraries. Our backend is running Python as a REST server and we use Scala for process-intensive tasks.

We offer an online tool for marketing agencies and online retailers to connect their webshops to various marketplaces, comparison engines and affiliate platforms. With Channable we enable our customers to easily filter, complete and optimize their product information for better results and send that information to any channel (e.g. Amazon, Shopping.com or Google).

Requirements

Higher professional education (HBO), scientific education (WO): work- and thinking level
A passion for software development
Familiar with Python and/or Scala

Responsibilities

Further optimising our Scala processing engine to process more than 100.000 products every second
Developing a system for automatic classification of products
Build new integrations with various external APIs
Extending our API with new functionalities
Thinking and pitching new ideas about improvements or areas of possibilities
