The team & the journey so far
We’re a lean remote team of makers (designers, engineers, community managers) split across 8 timezones. Join us in empowering creators to build their own Lemonade Stands!
Lemonade launched in one living room in Barcelona last year (pre-Covid) as an offline invite-only experience platform- for friends of friends to enjoy intimate music and food experiences hosted by local creators. Within a few short months, it scaled 100+ living rooms and rooftops, helping artists control their events while covering their monthly groceries and rent. And then, boom! COVID-19 hit.
Since then, we have pivoted to a hybrid of virtual and IRL events format while scaling offline experiences’ intimate and social vibe into the virtual world. We’re all eccentric in different ways, united with a common vision to enable the passion economy, democratize the creator economy, spread good vibes, and have fun! The answer to life is forty-two. About the role and your impact
As a web developer at Lemonade, you will create a fluid and beautiful web experience for creators that make hosting, managing, executing events engaging and fun! What you build will empower creators to build, manage and monetize communities at scale with an amazing suite of features and infrastructure. Some of the skills that we expect you to have within your arsenal:
– Using ReactJS to build a web app
– Using Redux Saga for state management
– Familiarity with React Spring
– Familiarity with TypeScript
– Familiarity with Git
– Familiarity with GraphQL
– Familiarity with NFTs
– Has an up to date skill set and follows best practices
– Meets our design and product quality standards
Ideal Candidate
– 2 to 4 years of experience building front end experiences
– Knowledgeable in React
– Knowledgeable of various state management library
– Knowledgeable of various CSS in JS libraries
– Has familiarity with using tools such as Figma or Zeplin for referencing designs
