What are they looking for?

They are seeking a senior backend developer that will develop a parsing library for word documents that have a given structure. The candidate will have proven experience parsing word documents, regardless of programming language.

This is a technically challenging role that will give you the opportunity of working in an exciting, high energy, creative and very fast-moving start-up environment – at the same time as working alongside some of the world’s best-known technology companies. Responsibilities:

– Write a word-document parsing library that can be deployed on a server and that will be able to parse somewhat varied documents, extracting its content and some metadata, but ignoring all the scaffolding.
– The code needs to be easily maintainable.
– The library will need to be able to run inside a docker container.
