Our ambition
We carry out several projects per year for large international (police) organizations. The focus is on being able to deal with the large and ever-increasing number of reports of potentially criminal images on the internet. Through multiple web applications, which are supported by smart workflows, intelligent visual algorithms and data analysis, we facilitate a fast processing with our solution. We develop on the basis of a modern architecture and use modern methodologies. It is important that we develop as many reusable components as possible that can be shared between the projects and products.
ZiuZ plays a role in helping LEA’s in every step of the process of fighting crimes against children. Countries get a lot of so called NCMEC reports about possibly illegal content on websites. These reports need to be processed, assessed and prioritised by Law Enforcement Agencies. AviaTor helps in reducing the time needed and points to the reports with the highest ‘risk’. A high risk NCMEC report is often a trigger for a full blown police investigation into a possible offender. When an investigation into a possible offender starts, ZiuZ helps with other products like VizX.
At ZiuZ Forensic, we are looking for a C#.NET Software Developer to help us achieve our ambitions. Someone who is not afraid of complexity and with an eye for architecture.
What will be your role as Software Developer?
At ZiuZ, we work the Agile way, in which each team serves a specific department, product or project. Our teams are multidisciplinary, where developers and testers work with the product manager or project lead to achieve optimal results using:
– Domain Driven Design;
– Hexagonal Architecture;
– Continuous Integration;
– Test Automation.
You will become part of the ‘Forensic Projects’ Scrum team, and you will work closely with your team, the software architect and research engineers. You focus on back end development where we use Docker Containers, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch and SQL Server. We develop in C# using .NET Core for both Windows and Linux environments.
About you as an individual
You are a software developer with IT training at HBO (higher professional) or WO (university) level. You love teamwork and have a good command of the English language. Sometimes you think just a little differently and you dare to speak up. You are also interested in (learning) new methodologies, corporate social responsibility, advanced image processing and collaboration with national and international (police) organizations.
