We provide innovative business software for gyms, personal trainers and event organizations., Additionally, we run our own online marketplace were trainers and clubs can offer their products and service to active people in order to acquire new members.

Our goal is to turn our company into a worldwide online sports platform, helping trainers and organizers to work more efficiently and get more people to participate in sports. To make that happen, we’re looking for a junior or medior PHP Developer to join our team.

Your skills

PHP and understanding of object oriented design and MVC frameworks
Database design and experience with MySQL
You have worked with  HTML 5, CSS3.0, Javascript, jQuery.
Git & Git workflow (preferred) or similar version control tool
1-5 years of experience
Bachelor or Master in IT or similar
Independent, strong analytic skills, enthusiastic and driven

Bonus points for:

Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructures
Worked with PHP frameworks
Previously developed financial or administrative systems
Front-end programming language (Angular)
Mobile development experience (iOS, Android)
Active sports practitioner

Your job

Being part of a small team means that you also need to be flexible and innovative. Together with our CTO and 2 other developers you will be building new features and improving our existing application framework and infrastructure.

Example features where you will be working on are:

Additions to our public search and booking system
Improve activity planners and calendar functionality,
Member and subscription management
Messaging features
Financial and marketing reporting and payment interfaces
Internal Marketing tools
JSON API development

Your main focus will be at the backend development, but you will also be asked to pick up some front-end tasks. Next to developing features, we are constantly improving our processes and quality controls, and will expect that you take an active part in that part.
