HeyScience SA (Lausanne, Switzerland) is looking for a Senior/Lead Front-End Engineer to help us build an AI research assistant for scientists that can learn to specialize into any research field.
Responsibilities
• Working with the design team to build a reusable and scalable component library.
• Leveraging technologies such as Tailwind CSS to develop a clean custom UI.
• Ensuring device compatibility (web, mobile, desktop).
• Automatic UI testing.
• UX improvements (e.g. reducing client bundle size, strategic lazy loading, etc.)
Required
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field and at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in industry.
• Solid understanding of modern Javascipt, HTML and CSS.
• Industry experience with leading front-end frameworks such Vue (preferred) or React. Experience with component frameworks such as Vuetify, Quasar, Bootstrap, etc.
• API services.
Preferred/Bonus
• Experience with container and container orchestration technology such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience in working with multiple API styles such as REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.
• Backend development.
• Managing and growing teams.
