We are looking for a Senior/Lead Front-End Engineer to help us build an AI writing coach for students that write essays.
Responsibilities
- Work with the product and design team to deliver valuable feature to our users in the form of both prototypes and production features.
- Collaborate with the backend and machine learning engineers to implement features end-to-end.
- Leverage technologies such as Tailwind CSS to develop a clean custom UI.
- Ensure device compatibility (web, mobile, desktop).
- Automatic UI testing.
- UX improvements (e.g. reducing client bundle size, strategic lazy loading, etc.)
Required
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in industry.
- Solid understanding of modern Javascipt, HTML and CSS.
- Industry experience with leading front-end frameworks such as Vue.js (preferred) or React.
Preferred/Bonus
- Experience with container and container orchestration technology such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience in working with multiple API styles such as REST, GraphQL, gRPC, etc.
- Backend development.
- Interest in machine learning, data science and LLMs.
